Supported by Nanjing University and the Ministry of Education, the Nanjing University Press was established in 1984. It has upheld its guiding principles of beginning from world-class academics and growing through effective branding and new knowledge assimilation all the while upholding and promoting its Chinese essence. The press also persists in its mission to accumulate and spread culture and maintains a high-quality of product and high-level of social character. The press comprises a “Public Academics” centre, a secondary education textbook centre, a basic education book centre, a children’s book centre, a digital publishing centre and other departments.
