Nanjing Outsider Art Center
Opened to the public in 2014, Nanjing’s Outsider Art Center is the first private non-profit institution devoted to helping children with mental disabilities explore their potential and gain confidence. Guo Haiping and Tang Yimin are responsible for the work of the centre which provides art training, creation, consultation and psychological support services for rehabilitees with mental disabilities.
Work by the Center's artists was featured at Expo Milano and a joint exhibition with artists from China and the Netherlands. Several albums of the artists' work have been published.
